U.S. Maternal Health Crisis
The United States' maternal mortality rate is the highest of any developed nation in the world. Between pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum period, moms are dying at increasing rates, despite modern technology. But did you know that most pregnancy-related deaths are preventable?
Moms of Color
Regardless of education or income levels, Black women are 3x as likely to die than White women in the U.S., and Native Americans are 2x as likely to die from pregnancy-related complications.
Georgia Moms
Georgia's maternal mortality rate is almost DOUBLE the national rate!
It's no wonder God called me to birth work saying..."Your passion for childbirth is not just for you, it's for others."
